Get Ready to Become a Superhero!
Hello Alfred and the New York Historical Society teamed up for the first ever Superheroes in Gotham Scavenger Hunt.
Our dream of turning everyone into a superhero won’t happen overnight (unfortunately) so we’re taking it one step at a time. This weekend we’re gifting one lucky visitor a year of Alfred so they can have their trusty Alfred sidekick handle all their to-dos while they go rock their careers and enjoy their time off.
We will be handing out questionnaires to visitors as they enter the event. Visitors who get all the answers right, will be in the running to receive an year of Alfred.
Tickets to the exhibition are $20 (adult) and $12 (students), but taking part in the scavenger hunt is free.
On January 24th, we’ll announce the winner on our social channels so make sure to follow us leading up to the event!
The iconic superheroes of Gotham City are beloved as they are renowned for being a force to reckon with. For over eight decades they have sparked the imagination of generations and have served as a constant source of inspiration.
Possibly the most well known among the roster of champions is Batman. What makes Batman a superhero of the highest caliber is achieved not solely on his own merit. He doesn’t have any actual superpowers, but does have an extensive support system that is masterminded and managed by his trusty butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
We’re looking forward to becoming the Alfred to your inner Batman.

THE FINE PRINT:
1. How To Enter: Beginning January 20th, 6:30pm through January 24th, 4pm, entrants may apply by filling out the answer on our questionnaire card and handing it in to one of our representatives. The winner will be drawn from among all eligible and correct entries received; drawing to be held on or about January 24th, 4pm. Drawing will be conducted by Hello Alfred whose decisions are final. One (1) Winner will receive One (1) year of Alfred Butler Service (Retail value: $1,536).
2. Winner Notification: In the event the Winner doesn’t respond to Hello Alfred’s notification or does not accept the prize within five (5) business days of notification, the prize will be deemed forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected. Winners will be notified via e-mail, on or about January 24th.
3. Eligibility: Limit one (1) entry per person for the [description of prize]; multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries become the property of the Hello Alfred and will not be returned. The prize is valid only for residents of the US who are new Hello Alfred Members; previous or current Hello Alfred Members are not eligible to apply. Alfred service is currently only available in certain zip codes in New York and Boston and only residents of such zip codes will be able to receive Alfred Service. Provision of service is subject to winner’s enrollment in Alfred service, including acceptance of Hello Alfred’s standard Terms of Use, including our Privacy Statement.
3. Conditions of Participation: Entrants must have a valid e-mail address. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Hello Alfred, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Promotion. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Hello Alfred to use winner’s name and/or likeness, biographical material, and/or entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
4. Choice of Law: Each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this competition shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in New York, NY.
